Blockchain technology promises to be disruptive and fully decentralized. However, a closer look reveals many nuances that will rely on a mixture of older centralized, traditional systems and regulatory processes and newer disruptive technologies. The messy market will lead and dictate its adoption and broader impact on social values and structures. You can be confident that blockchain will eventually disrupt every area of our lives. However, we must be proactive and collectively collaborate to address some of its perils so that the technology can have its most significant benefit on our lives. Â
